Subscriptions and purchases
Read Aloud Premium is purchased through the Apple App Store. You can manage, cancel, or restore purchases from your Apple account settings or by using Restore Purchase in the app.
The only pre-subscription experience is Try It First with bundled sample content. The main app experience requires an active subscription.
Imported content
Read Aloud is built for content you import yourself, including supported documents, articles, pasted text, photos, and scans.
The app is not a built-in audiobook catalog. Unsupported, password-protected, corrupted, or DRM-protected files may not import successfully.
Processing and privacy
Documents are local-first where possible. Some imports, scans, or article extraction actions may require temporary backend processing when you explicitly request them.
